In a full day tour of Antigua Guatemala and surrounding areas will visit the following sights:

  • San Juan del Obispo: We visit the palace and the square of Bishop Francisco Marroquín. You can see a beautiful view of the valley of Panchoy with Santiago de los Caballeros de Guatemala.

Panajachel

Is one of the four most attractive tourist centers in Guatemala. Its importance lies in the scenery of Lake Atitlan and the volcanoes called Atitlan, Toliman and San Pedro and its incredible and beautiful sunsets celajes of which are appreciated in conjunction with the majesty of its natural volcanoes.

Day 1
 

The tour starts out of the capital Guatemala City at 8:00 am Panajachel which is discussed in a boat to visit Santa Catarina Palopo and Santiago Atitlan. In these destinations you can see the Church, textiles and handicrafts of the place with free time for shopping.
You return to Panajachel to check in at the hotel and have the afternoon free to walk down the street Santander is the main street of Panajachael, in which the trade is at its peak and you will find all
kinds of handicrafts, restaurants, bars, among others.

 

Day 2
 

Departure from Hotel to Chichicastenango in which we visit the largest indigenous market in Latin America, where you can see textiles, ceramics and crafts, is a true blend of tradition and folklore of different indigenous groups living in villages surrounding the Market Central, as well as visiting the St. Thomas Church where you can see some religious rites, very traditional place.
Out of Chichicastenango to Guatemala City, stopping at Tecpán * for lunch and continue the journey.
Arriving at the capital at 6:00 p.m.

       Day 1

 

      Departure from Guatemala City and made a city tour in the city of Antigua Guatemala, and starting the tour in San Juan del Obispo. Out of the city of Antigua Guatemala to Iximche

       Leaving Panajachel to Chichicastenango to visit the main church, the square, the local market, and the.

       TOUR GUATEMALA - LIVINGSTON - TIKAL

           6 Days 5 Nights

 

     Day 1

     Departure from Guatemala City, Quirigua and reaching through    to Livingston.

    Quirigua around can be found not only deposits of jade, but pottery and ancient archaeological treasures.

Among its valuable content is the stele erected in honor of one of its main leaders, in Cacuaco Heaven. This trail has a height of eleven meters.

All trails have hieroglyphics for their amazing detail. These steles were discovered in 1840, and has since become a place which preserves ancient treasures of the Maya.

But the importance of the place lies not in their wakes Maya or the remains of buildings.
It was declared Cultural Patrimony of Humanity by UNESCO in 1973.

 

      The city of Livingston is located along the Caribbean coast, Livingston is a popular destination for travelers seeking style and Caribbean rhythms, seafood and music full of energy. It is an opportunity to see the local culture up close. It is a place where history unfolds before your eyes.

     Day 2

      Departure from Livingston to Rio Dulce coming to Santa Elena.

  

      Rio Dulce is a river running from Lake Izabal, in the eastern part of Guatemala, to the Carribean. The river itself is exquisite, with graceful birds and tall cliffs overflowing with lush flora.

     

     Santa Elena is the economic, political, cultural and demographic of El Petén, and along with the population of San Benito form a city of more than 60.500 inhabitants, has shopping centers, hotels, banks, universities, bus terminals and airport; is also the hub of roads that connect the entire department and the rest of the country.

 

      Day 3

   Departure from Flores to Tikal and back to Flores in the afternoon.

     

     Tikal consists of more than 10,000 structures, many of them superimposed over each other in an area of 16 square kilometers. Squares, temples, pyramids, palaces, steam baths, ball games, rooms, pools of water, until the original wooden lintels can be seen yet, despite the more than 1000 years of neglect is what makes Tikal one monumental site declared World Heritage by UNESCO.
